This
structure came into being in the early 1800, constructed by a large British
firm and was strategically positioned on the promenade.
The Hotel Internazionale has played host to many a nobleman and royalty,
as well as rich merchants in transit from London to Bombay for business.
This historic structure is of important value to the city of Brindisi
as it played host to King Vittorio Emanuele III for a significant period
of time as he utilized the fresco room for his parliamentary meetings.
Today the hotel has been restored back to its ancient
splendour and is once again amongst the best in the Salento region.
With various function halls and innumerous lounges, a
restaurant serving an international cuisine, 57 rooms and 10 splendid
suits with views which overlook the sea all framed beyond compare which
allow you to take in an atmosphere of an historical building with all
the modern comforts.
